special

christenings & baptisms
Every new life is an opportunity to share in celebration and thanksgiving.
We would love to welcome you and your wider family to celebrate your new little one
here at St Catherine's.

Everyone is welcome to have their children baptised in their local parish church.
We also welcome adults who want to be baptised or to reaffirm their faith.

What is baptism?

Your child is precious to you and to God.
At baptism you make a decision to start your child on a journey of faith.
Our whole congregation and the
child's godparents support
you and your child in this decision.

Contact our vicar or assistant minister to
arrange a chat to prepare you for this service.

weddings
You are very welcome to hold your wedding at
St Catherine's, as long as one of the following applies:

-
You live in Stoke Aldermoor or New Century Park (this parish).
-
You have family connections with this parish.
-
You regularly attend any of our church services.
More information can be found at:

If either of both of you have been divorced, then please contact the Vicar to discuss what we can do.
If one of you belongs to a faith that is not Christian, we will still be able to marry you here at St Catherine's following a Christian wedding service.

If a full Christian wedding service is not what you want, we may be able to arrange a blessing here after your civil ceremony.

Funerals
Funerals are an important opportunity to
remember and commemorate the life
of your loved one who has passed from this life.
We recognise the importance of attention to detail and care when dealing with such a serious and solemn but special occasion.
